Come run/walk a mile, 5K, 10.5K, or all three in Beulah, Alabama.

1 Mile: 12:15 p.m. central time /1:15 p.m. eastern time
5K: 12:45 p.m. central time /1:45 p.m. eastern time
10.5K: 1:30 p.m. central time /2:30 p.m. eastern time

1 Mile Awards: Top Male/Female: Overall, Master, Grandmaster, Beulah Elementary and Beulah High Student.

Top Male/Female in these age divisions: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20,
21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
5K & 10.5K: Top Male/Female: Overall, Master, Grandmaster and Senior Grandmaster.

Top three in these age divisions: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,
35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Entry Fee: $12.00 for one race if received by 10/26/06. Mail check & entry form to:

Registration Form

From Atlanta: Travel south on I-85 to the Georgia-Alabama State Line. The first exit in Alabama (Valley, AL) will be exit #79. Exit here and take a left on Highway 29. Travel 5 miles to where the 4 lane runs out and turn left on road 380 at the red light. Go 5.5 miles and turn right on road 270. The school is 2.3 miles on the left.

From Columbus: Travel west on highway 280 towards Opelika. Turn right on road 379. Travel 11 miles and turn left on road 372. Go 1.7 miles and turn left on road 270. The school is ½ mile on the left.

From Montgomery: Travel north on I-85 to exit #64. Turn right on Highway 29, then take the next left continuing on Highway 29. Travel 6.5 miles and turn right on road 270. The school is 3.5 miles on the right.

Spinner's Great Pumpkin 8k - Oct 28, 8:00 AM- Prattville Alabama

Run for LIFE - October 14th at 8:00 a.m. - EastChase

3rd Annual Run for LIFE is a 5K run and 1 mile race for the fleet of feet and a Tot Trot for the little ones.

3rd Annual Run for LIFE is a 5K run on a relatively flat course through the Halcyon neighborhood, Eastchase Office Park and Eastchase Shopping Center in east Montgomery. Additionally there is a 1 mile race for the fleet of feet and a Tot Trot for the little ones.

Race Starts October 14th at 8:00 a.m.

Registration Fee is $15, Day of Race it will be $18.

Police Memorial Run - October 5, 6:15 PM

The Montgomery Track & Running Club (MTRC) will have a sunset run/walk this week to raise money for the account set up by the family of slain Montgomery Police Officer Keith E. Houts.

The run/walk of between two and three miles will be Thursday, October 5, 6:15 p.m., Blount Cultural Park. It will start and finish near the Alabama Shakespeare Festival Theatre in the parking area adjacent to the thatched-roof restrooms.

This will be a donations-only event.

All runners and walkers, both MTRC members and non-members, are encouraged to come out and show support for the Houts family and the Montgomery Police Department. Please help us spread the word throughout the local community about this run/walk.

We will post the participants in the order of finish on the MTRC website.
