2nd Annual Ground Hog 5K Jog

Come one, come all, to the 2nd Annual Ground Hog 5K Jog on Saturday, February 2nd!

If the ground hog sees his shadow, there will be another six weeks of cool running. No shadow,and it's back to sweat-filled outings!

The timed run will begin promptly (right around) 9AM on a somewhat meticulously-measured course: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=99532.

It begins and ends at 1172 Lakewood Drive, in the prestigious upscale community of Lakeview Estates in beautiful Montgomery. (Anyone found the lake yet?)

There will refreshments and the infamous "road kill ground hog grog." Please come help us celebrate this auspicious occasion!

2 PM CST. Westgate Park at the Northcutt Complex, Dothan, Al.

Challenging, rolling certified course. Aid Stations, splits each mile, & digital clock at finish. Certification number AL-8500TC.

5 mi.-$20 if mailed by 1/22/08; $25 Race Day. RW div. (no Shirt Option - $10), Shirts guaranteed to pre-registered runners only.

Auburn Half Marathon

DATE: January 19, 2008

TIME: 7:30 am CST Half Marathon 10:00 am Children’s Half Marathon

PLACE: Moore’s Mill Fitness 2272 Moore’s Mill Rd Auburn, AL 36830
Showers will be available after the race.

ENTRY: $25.00 for Half Marathon before December 15th, 2007. $35.00 after December 16, 2007.

$10.00 for parents participating in the Children’s Half Marathon. No charge for children.

Bandits prohibited – please contact race director.

RESULTS: Results will be posted on www.auburnrunning.org

AWARDS: $100 to 1st place overall, male and female. Ten year age groups

SHIRTS: All runners registered before December 15th, 2007 will receive a long-sleeve technical running shirt. Entries received after December 16th and all Children’s Half participants will receive a cotton t-shirt.

Cruising the Creekwalk - Prattville

Time: 9 a.m. - 5K and 10 a.m. - 1 Mile
Registration will begin at 7:30 at the Doster Center.

Both events will begin and end at the Doster Community Center and will take you along the creek and through Historic Downtown Prattville. Please bring your whole family and join us for a celebration party at the end of the race, including food, music and entertainment for the children!

Medals will be awarded to first place male/female finishers in each category, as well as an Overall Winner and Master's Level.
